Q: What is an art-form bicycle?

A: An art-form bicycle is one that emphasizes design over performance. This isn't to say that performance is not taken into account, because it most certainly is, but rather it is secondary to the overall design. For example, we would never suggest that someone use an Atom Bomb Chopper or an H-Bomb cruiser in a triathlon!

Q: Why do you only build a limited number of models of a particular bike?

A: We do this for two reasons. First, we want our bikes to be exclusive. Shipping 100 bikes around the world virtually guarantees you will not find another one anywhere around you. Second, we want to create many models, and limiting the production allows us to quickly move onto another fresh design.

Q: Are these bikes really an investment?

A: We believe so. Our goal is to become known as the premier builders of art-form bicycles. We will do this by always exceeding people's expectations – in terms of design, quality, and service. Our internal goal is that after 5 years, our bikes have at least doubled in value (both resale and retail).

Q: Why do you build the bikes by hand?

A: You cannot build a really intricate, detailed bike in mass production. The Atom Bomb and H-Bomb are perfect examples of this. I doubt a bike like this could be produced in a cost effective manner within a factory. In addition, building the bikes by hand is what gives them their personality and identity as true works of art.

Q: What's next for you guys?

A: We are always kicking around ideas for our next bike. We have just introduced the H-Bomb. While we have many new ideas, the H-Bomb has our full attention at the moment.

Q: Do the people who purchase your bicycles get preference when the new bike comes out?

A: That is a good question. The answer is Yes – they get first dibs on purchasing the next model.

Q: What happens if my bike has a problem? Is their a warranty?

A: The components are covered by their respective manufacturers. The frame, seat, forks, and fork clamps are covered by us for life (to the original owner). Should you have any problems, just call us. Of course, doing something dumb like launching an Atom Bomb off a ramp would void the warranty!
